Default Two Solo Farms with a Mesmer / Necro

Here are two really easy, though not too lucrative, solo farms with a Me/N.

1. Hydras and Storm Kin outside of Augury Rock

1. Life Transfer
2. Life Siphon
3. Vampiric Gaze
4. Vampiric Touch
5. Energy Tap
6. Mantra of Flame
7. Ether Feast
8. Optional (I like Ether Signet)

The idea is, aggro 1-3 Hydras or 1-3 Storm Kin, getting their attention with a Life Transfer. After casting it the first time, wait for a bit if facing Hydras, they will usually attack first with Meteor, which is annoying and might interrupt you. After they start melee attacking you, cast Life Siphon on the same one you attacked earlier, then spam Gaze and Touch, while gaining energy when necessary/needed. Of course, keep Mantra up at all time, you will take very little damage, about 40 per Inferno/Meteor and 8-12 per melee attack, which is easy to deal with. Once you have killed the first of the 2 or 3, start paying attention to the other, its pretty straight forward. Same thing with the Storm Kin, just tempt them with a Gaze after Transfer, since they use Power Drain. Remember to go into the fights with full energy!

This farm makes a small amount of money, but is fun!

2. Sand Drakes, Rockshot Devourers in Elona Reach

1. Life Transfer
2. Life Siphon
3. Vampiric Gaze
4. Vampiric Touch
5. Energy Tap
6. Drain Enchantment
7. Ether Feast
8. Mantra of Resolve

Head out of Elona Reach, and attack the first Sand Drake you see with Transfer, then Siphon, then spam Gaze and Touch when you can, gaining energy and life when needed. The Key is energy management. Drain Enchantment is for the attunement the Drakes use. Keep moving into the zone, you can easily kill a dozen Drakes quickly. When you run across Rockshot Devourers (some opo up out of the ground) immediately cast the Mantra, then start attacking. They use Distracting Shot, which can hurt. Sometimes a Rockshot ranger boss spawns, you might as well leave the group alone. It is possible to kill the other two that accompany him, but you wont quite be able to kill him, or at least I have never been able to. This farm makes more money than the Hydra one, and Elonian keys seem to drop more frequently.

Both these farms can be done with a N/Me, obviously, but they are fun, and I know I get a kick out of going around higher level places as a lone mesmer!

It seems poor mesmers are doomed as farmers since the Shiroken farm doesn't work anymore.

So.. i guess Dopefish's Mesmer Solos are just.. worthless? I hardly think so, I've soloed many many places with it.

However, nice job coming up with an innovative way of farming
